I want this place so much. ^_^

It's got 1330 sq. feet, W/D, DW, is -right next to the Greenbelt Metro,- plus they're pet friendly!!! ^_^ It's even got a DEN!! (So I can either make it a guest space, use it as storage, or just put up my spiritual stuff there. :D:D *beams* Plus I know they've got these available, and they're only $899!!! I looks perfect for me, and I just can't wait to see it in person. ^_^ True, that apartment rating site doesn't have anything good to say about it- but if you're familiar w/it, or have read any other reviews there about any other place, no one really has anything good to say at that site, as a rule. (I'm guessing they're mostly folks who need a forum to complain about places, as a general rule, but I imagine some of it is valid, yes? --'Cause not EVERY place on there can have THAT much negative stuff going on.. right??) I really hope I get this, and I really hope I get into this place. It looks like just the space I need for my art studio, w/just enough space for me, my two kitties, and all of our stuff! ^_^

'M SO excited!!! (No bad feeling at all, even. Aave checked m'gut, n' that's a GOOD sign. ^_^)

Wish me luck to get through the security screening process, get my clearance, start this job, and get this place!! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D It's called Springhill Lake, is in Greenbelt, and I just can't wait to get things started. :):):)

My mom (who's a necessary evil because she's helping me move, see places, and possibly cosign) -swears- Greenbelt is a crappy, ghetto, crime-riddled & dangerous place, but I haven't heard much bad about it- and I grew up in NoVA hearing all -kinds- of things about the bad areas in the DC vacinity. I know (from a few news reports I've heard) it's not a -great- area, but I'd rather an ookaaaay area and live in a place I love than be in a "Great" area, forced to live in its pocket ghetto, subsisting in a 3sq. ft. hovel that costs me an arm & a leg. You know what I mean? I don't want to chance getting shot everytime I go outside, but I want to -like- the place I'll be forced to live in for at least a year.. right??
An' hell, it's WAY better than some of my other prospects (w/amenities and places that I can afford, w/o living in a cement box that costs me $1,500 p. mo.) like Oxon Hill, Capital Heights, etc.- which I KNOW are bad parts of town...
Now, has anyone heard/know anything about Springhill Lake apartments? Or anything about the Greenbelt area?

Many Thanks & Cheers,
Nae
