You know, what I'd like more than a Wii or an iPod, a new computer or a full set of those Karaoke Revolution for PS2 games, would be to be able to adopt a needy puppy or kitty & give them a good, loving home w/me and my furries. I want to help get an innocent animal far, far away from horrible places like that puppy mill which was just raided in WVA, and to show one little furry friend that not all humans are bad, evil, hateful, or neglectful things... :-\ (Okay, I recognize that if I could I'd rescue every single needy animal on the planet. But that still doesn't change my desire to help, one step & tiny life at a time. :)
I'd love a little small-breed puppy, n' maybe even a special-needs one that was blind, deaf etc.. (since I know they're so often overlooked by other prospective owners, and depending on the disorder, I might already have some background in coping w/it...)
I realize I 'd have to move out of here though; as they don't allow dogs in my complex. -And I'd like to get a job closer to home so I'm not gone four extra hours out of the day. ..But as my lease is ending in January, I'm keeping that, as well as my aim to move out of this area & get a different job, on my plate & in my mind.
And maybe sometime I'll end up w/a little Fizzgig after all. ;D
I have to do some sort of AR/A-themed picture at some point I think. Perhaps I could get my point across via my art, and thus do some good there, too... Hmm.
Anyway, the two kitties I do have at home need attention- so I'm gonna go scritch some noggins & crash out. ..An' let them crawl all over me at night like they always do. ;)
