My birthday yesterday rocked. ^_^ My mom came to pick me up at work for my lunch hour and took me to a place called California Tortilla for a nummy Mexi-inspired lunch, then we stopped by Whole Foods & she bought me some Ginseng and 2 very fancily decorated cupcakes. (They had very realistic looking flowers on 'em, entirely made out of icing. :):)) We split one and I took the other back to work to keepon my desk to show off to my coworkers and make 'em ask "oh, is it your birthday?" and then to take home and eat at the end of the day. ..Or, so my mother planned. ;)) Welll.. although it was good, (even if it was that whip-creamy icing I'm not normally fond of, this was actually okie), I decided to give my other one to one of my co-workers, whose b-day is today, as it turns out. I didn't have any way of going to get her anything else, so I just figgered that cupcade'd be perfect. :) So I gave that way, and it turned out that she just loved it. ^_^

The rest of the tiredness I'd been having through the morning drifted away, and the rest of the day went as usual. Then when I got home, I thought I'd just come home, undo from my work stuffs, and order pizza n' stay in, relaxing and playing video games. :) Well not long after I'd arrived Charlie and Tina called me & invited me out to dinner. We went to Unos, and it was -lovely.- ^_^ (Their baby kept screaming through a good deal of it- which I admit at time made me want to just call the whole thing a bust and go back home, but during the quiet moments, it was nice, and as a whole the evening went great. :):)) They gave me a cute little purse so I didn't keep having to take my giant backpack to work everyday, (and out to dinners/shopping, like I had been doing), and they ended the night w/a huge cookie sundae that I had lots of fun munching & sharing w/the two of them. :):)

My mom gave me Nights at the Alhambra (the Borders edition), a bellydancing kit (looks very cool, w/nice sounding, engraved zills n' everything), and LM's Passport... which I'm not sure if it has the same stuff on it as other CDs I already have of hers or not. Ooh yeah, n' she gave me a journal, too. :) (I was a little bummed at first I didn't get the blue Tour edition of the album like we saw at her concert, but I --think-- it has the same stuff, so I'm all kinds a peachy. :) 'Sides, it's from my Mum, from the heart, will commemorate the evening we had recently at LM's concert, an' it ain't like I'd be able to buy something like that OR the fancy one for m'self, so it all rocks. ^_^ ^_^ ^_^ ^_^ My mom and I fight, but I know she does try like I do, an' I love her to pieces. She's a great lady. *beams*)

OOH! Plus, (another bonus), one of the ladies here at work found out it was my b-day yesterday an' left me flowers on my desk this morning. ^_^ :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D It was such a nice surprise!! They're lovely pinky roses, short-stemmed, all in a lovely bouquet that fits into this precious little mug. ^_^ TOO trés cute, and -very much appreciated.- ^_^ (See? I told ya the people at my work were awesome. ;):))

Lastly, Sunday Will, Jessi, and hopefully some of you will be out at Faire to celebrate mine birffday there, ^_^^_^, an' if I can go, I'd like to hit Pagan Pride Day in Springfield on Saturday. (I know, I'm not entirely Pagan, but I'd love to make a shirt saying "Pag-ish." ;D) If anyone wants to join for either, gimme a call on my cell, or e-me sometime, and hopefully we'll see you on either one or both occassions! :D:D

The guy we've been working with at Springfield Crossing just called me to inform me that my credit didn't pass their criteria, and I've been denied. Suck. My hopes have (despite my attempts to keep them down) risen so high for getting into this place.. so I'm really hoping my mom, stepdad, or combination of the two can somehow co-sign for me so I can actually get IN. This place is SO nice, affordable, and has SO much of what I've been wanting/needing. I can't WAIT to get my babies back, have my own space, and start my own, solo attempt at having a real, grown-up, independant life of my own.... Keep your fingers crossed for me, kids. Pray, meditate, cast spells, chant, do whatever you can/twish and send whatever good vibes you can muster my way, if you're so inclined, peez! My mom says she can't even begin finding the stuff she'll need to do her application stuff untill the end of the weekend, so I admit I'm.. kinda buggin'. I want this done sooner rather than later, (especially since the place is supposed to be move-in-ready on Monday), and now I'm just like "okay, am I getting in or not??? Do I have to live ni a cardboard box after all, or WHAT'S GOING ON????"

PS, Did anyone else know they have an ACB RADIO now??? O.O Radio for and by people w/visual impairments!!! BLind musicians, singers & DJs n' stuff!!! How cool is that??? O.O Maybe I might actually have a shot at this singing career after all. ^_^ ^_^ ^_^ ^_^ Again, let's hope. ;)

Love to All, 'N Hope to See You This Weekend at Faire!! :D:D
