Still

I have a LOT to talk about concerning this past weekend. But I'll get to that soon(ish.) Ftm, I find myself caught up in wishing for lost people in my life, missing old friends, longing to rekindle severed relationships, seeking resolution with uncertain new ones.. just.. Missing. 

So in that vein: 

Still
Do you ever miss me?
Do you ruminate on my kiss..?
Do you long for the moments we had together,
and wish that what has been could be what is?

I think of you sometimes.
Moments that take me by surprise,
Leaving pangs in my heart,
And a shine in my eyes...

I wish for you sometimes.
Your voice, your skin, your touch,
the feel of your breath on my softest of places,
Wishing I didn't yearn for you so much...

But I just can't help it.
I have and I will and I do.
Savouring memories of us that are long gone,
Still trying to hold on to the taste of You.
