As I'm trying to get more active in the audio drama scene, I just created a little blip as an audition for a part in Gypsy Audio's new series; "Gypsy's Cove."  They need 2 girls and 2 boys, so I thought I'd give 2 separate takes on two -completely- different girls w/two nearly diametrically opposed personality types. :)  Here's my first snippet (that was just sent off to Gypsy- keep your fingers crossed fer me!), and below it is the second, smaller spot.   Both were completely improv, and both have incorporate elements of comedy (hopefully you'll agree), and horror/drama (again, hopefully you'll agree).  The second track has my first tries at using outside-generated sound effect. :)  Hope you dig, and let me know what you think if you listen- I'd love some creative criticism! :)

Update:  I just did another audition piece, which can now be used to show any interested audio book or voiceover party some of the accents I can do.  If you'd like to hear a sampling of Bram Stoker's "Dracula" done in a myriad of different accents, check out this link!  Accents in order of appearance are:  High/posh British, Deep Scottish brogue, New Yorker/Long Islander, Georgia Peach/Southern Belle, Thickly Accented French, Indian, my natural voice, Irish, (one version of) Cockney, Deep Southern, Bostonian, and Russian/Romanian.  (I hope all these were pretty apparent, but hey-ya never know. ;))  Cheers!
