Saturday, I went to see Kiva and Owain Phyfe in concert- (a -very- seldom but truly remarkable occurence).
Sunday, I went to "The L-Word" premiere, met a girl I really liked, and ended up chilling w/her throughout the evening n' having an amazing time. For the first time brought a friend there, n' he ended up asking her out afterwards. I'm pissed, (well okay, I'll admit it- royally), but that still doesn't take away from the amazing evening I- no WE- all had that night. It was a good time, and I won't let one terd's actions ruin it. :) She wa a great girl, and if anything happens w/them so beit. And if not, that's okay too. :)
Monday, slept.
Tuesday, the first president w/African American heritage got sworn into office, and I sat down just in time to see it. It was.. unbelievably good. Honestly moving and powerful. Full of great minds and staggering talent (they had poems spoken and songs performed by true musical greats), and I hope the sentiments spoken through those moments are transmitted through this country's next four to eight years as a nation- not just as a man's attempt at holding a position in office. :):)
