Me & My Shadow

Today is a sad day.  Both Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson lost their lives on this same day; Thursday, June 25th, in the year two-thousand and nine.  :(((((

  

If you didn't already know, Mr. Jackson was an amazing singing & dancing talent, who was a massive icon in the 80s and nineties, and who also took major steps to help children in Africa, fight poverty on that continent as well as world-wide, and break cultural and color barriers in music as well as in modern popular culture.   Ms. Fawcett is noted for zooming to stardom on the iconic show "Charlie's Angels," (amongst other roles) and did a great deal of work w/charities dealing with domestic violence.  


You both sparkled so very brightly for the world- did so much and gave so much of yourselves with your gifts and your philanthropic efforts.  I'm sure you could have done so much more on this plane if you'd been given more time...  But for what it's worth, thanks for all that you have done.  Your presence will be sorely missed, no doubt throughout the world, now that you're gone from it.
