Yep, that's how happy we were. ^_^ Being a part of the Pipinou wedding party ROCKED. :D:D

Everything went splendidly this weekend! The weather was lovely, the ceremony was gorgeous and went off w/nigh on a hitch, both ceremony and reception were sweet, funny, meaningful yet simple, relaxed and gleefully heartfelt w/ only bits of reverence thrown in here n' there. ;D  My dress fit like a dream (thank you, Julie!), I got to meet a bevy of very cool, uniquely wonderful people, and there was even a mini ghost-hunt on the camp site! :D  Friday was a bit nuts, but Saturday came together beautifully and we had so many blessings stacked up upon us that the whole day seemed just blessed by the Heavens. ^_^

To Mr. and Mrs. Pipinou, I wish you all the blessings marriage and life can bring, with much health, joy, laughter and love for always!  Thank you so, so very much for allowing me to be a part of your ceremony (even if I was a stressy, wobbly, slow and klutzy part of it at times. ;))  I owe you a great deal, and love you both so very, very much. ^_^

♥ ♥ ♥

I'll likely post a longer, more detailed account of this past weekend (for my own memories' sake at least) in a later, forthcoming entry; but for now, I give you a few of the photos that were captured therein; during the sweet-but-all-too-swiftly-passing reception. :)  (I'd give you ones of the ceremony, but I was kinda in that bit, n' had no one to take pics for me- so you'll all just have to wait on others' photos; like the ones coming from their fantabulous wedding photographer, the talented Mr. Joe Hancuff. ;))

As I'm FINALLY seeing a doctor tonight about this owie, swelly throat issue I've been dealing w/since Sat., I don't quite know what my plans will be for the weekend. Either I'll be fine and get to go to [livejournal.com profile] flameofsilver's house tomorrow night to celebrate the evening w/him, or I'll be contageous (having already given my entire office whatever I've got), and I'll e at home, likely getting schnockered and celebrating the right to do so while watching cheesy melodrama courtesy of "Dante's Cove." ;D

I'm swimmin' and doin' laundry this weekend regardless, and unless I'm really bad-off sicky-wise, I'll be making people up for THE LAST DAY OF FILMING on the movie project I've been working on since JANUARY!!! :D:D:D ^_^ :D:D:D Yep! That's right! Done! Finished! Kaput! Finite! Terminado!! :D:D:D:D
My weekends are therefore MINE again, *glee* and so I might be doing a lot of things w/my time.. from finishing my place to taking bellydancing classes and a ton of stuff in between, yay yay yay YAY!! :D:D

And lastly, I've found some nifto links through my lunch-hours lately, & thought that if YOU didn't have much to do this weekend, ya might have some fun checkin' these babies out. :D:D

First off, there's Darker Projects.com. They do a ton of fun radio dramas/audio plays for folks who dig.. the darker side of fiction. ;)  These guys have stories featuring everything from zombies to elves, faeries to vampires, C'Thulhu and beyond. ^_^ (And for you fan-folks out there, they even have series' based on stuff like "Dr. Who" and "Star Trek." :D:D) Yay!   My faves?  "The Byron Chronicles," "Alive Inside" and "Gothik." ;)

Next, NIYAZ. If you like Arabic/ME music, CHECK THIS BAND OUT!!! They are ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE, and I was lucky enough to find them on Ioda- so they'll be featuring in my upcoming podshow. :D:D (Prob'ly a lot. ;D)

Next we have Louisa John-Krol. Shis does -amazing- mythology/fantasy/faerie world-based stuff, n' I'm rather shocked n' appalled at myself that I hadn't heard of/discovered her a LOOOONG time ago. If you like good lyrics, a lovely voice and great instrumentation & production (unlike a bunch of the other stuff one tends to find in that musical genre on the internet) you'll LOVE her. I encountered her work on YouTube via a vid about/by Brian Froud called "Muse," and it was all over from there. ;D Check out her new album entitled "Apple Pentacle-" where the "Muse" track came from. ;D

And lastly, athough it's not a link, it never occurred to me to look for things like events and people I was interested in on YouTube. It is AMAZING the kind of stuff that place has to offer... (Good as well as bad. ;))

'N that's it for me for this weekend, kitties! I hope soon I'll be able to tell you I just got a new comp., and that I'll be putting my podshow together soon soon soon soon. ^_^

Take care everyone!
Love Always,
Nae
It's all good stuff, though. ^_^
First off, (yes, I know it's not the weekend tonight, but I still gotta post about it, ^_^) I GET TO SEE JEN AND CHRIST ODAY!!!! *glee glee glee glee glee*
We're meeting up after work, I get to give them their prezzies, and who knows what else afterward? :D:D:D:D I can't wait, and hope that Jen and Chris are lookin' forward to it, too. ^_^

Second, my ACTUAL weekend agenda:
Friday: Root canal at four, meeting about a makeup artist job I'm doing at seven till ten thirty. Metro Access transport all between.
Saturday, finish up the few things I have to do for gifts on Suday. Then:
Get MA to pick me up at 2, so I can be in MD by my appointment at 3 TO SIGN MY LEASE!!! ^_^_^_^_^_^_^_^ I don't wanna jinx it or anything, but I'm looking forward to the plan, and hope that everything goes through okay. ^_^ (Memo to me; remember to look thoroughly over pet policy- of which they have NO PET RENT OR PET DEPOSIT!!! ^_^)
From there at four fifteen I'm heading over to another film meeting, which will be held at five, and presumable go till.. sevenish.? Maybe??
Sunday from noon to five I'll be at game. Normally I'm gaming till six, but this weekend IS THE L WORD PREMIER!!! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D Amupme who wants to come w/me still totally can. ^_^ They suggest being there by six 'cause they'll be full, and I've seen long lines at these things, so it's not surprising. That goes till ten or eleven or so, and then... Snooooore..!!! Time to crash and get ready for work agian on Monday. ^_^

If all goes well on Saturday, w/Heritage Square, I get to MOVE IN ON THURSDAY!!!! ^_^_^_^_^_^_^ (Which means I'll ask for my keys on Sat., and end up there Thursday night after work, bringing me, my ratties, and anything else I can carry to the place so I can start sleeping there and coming to work from there from then on. ^_^

Busy busy busy!!, no? O.O Wish me luck all, and hopefully soon I'll be having the housewarming before too long. ;D:D:D (I wanna get the place ready and nice before people show up, so it'll likely not happen for a few weeks after I move all my shite...) The weekend after this one I'l be able to go to H-burg, pick up my kitties & snag my stuff outta storage so I can move in en-true. Wish me luck all, and I hope you have a great weekend, too! ^_^

Cheers,
Nae

This weekend ROCKED. I had a great deal of fun w/plsurkity, oni_no_akuma, a few of their friends, and just a great weekend en general. Saw Pirates III, LOVED the movie- better than the other two in fact- (had a blast). Went to club, (had a blast). Played the Wii for the first time- bowled, golfed, did silly-scary bunny games, (had a blast). American Idol-karaoke'd my butt off, unlocked costumes, cheered friends on, saw Elvis, (had a blast). Went to Denny's after club and gabbed until way too late about top 5s and the like. (Had a blast.) Thanks, you guys!!! I had a wonderful time!! :D >^_^<

As soon as I got home I went away again to to a job interview. It went really well. More on that soon-ish. Things seem to be getting a bit better between me and someone dear to me. It ain't perfect or easy, but it's better, and I'm happy, 'cause it's a start. :) Saw "RV." T'was cute. Saw "When a Stranger Calls." ..Interesting flick for being based off an urban legend/ghost story from Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark." :) Saw "Stick It. Not.. bad. Great music, good protagonist lines. Saw the end of Conan the Destroyer and had NOT remembered how cheeeeeeeesy it looked. OY! And I remember defending it to other Sci-Fi fans.. I should have stuff more recent on my memory before I argue for stuff anymore. ;)

And lastly, I was just posting something to a community when I saw that the music from CatDogRadio.com was playing in perfect time w/someone's silly icon, making it look like Snape was doing a flingy fashion show or commercial. ^_^ Ya can't help but laugh when a rendition of the "Love Boat" theme happens to synch up -perfectly- in time with the rhythm of an icon like this:

Night, guys!
